Network SME Engineer *Bilingual position (Network Management Project)
[Job Responsibilities]
- Addressing more advanced and complex issues that L1 engineers cannot resolve. This includes detailed analysis of network problems and identification of root causes.
- Configuring and managing network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. This includes implementing changes based on requests and project requirements.
- Manage incidents escalated from the L1 team and collaborate with other teams as needed to resolve issues.
- Analyze network performance and propose improvements.
- Identify areas for service improvement plans, implement improvement plans, and maintain detailed records of network configurations, changes, and incidents for future reference.
- Regularly upgrade network operating systems.
- Manage IP addresses across all locations, including data centers.
- Perform changes and troubleshooting related to VPN configurations.
- Support network equipment routing changes based on service requests.
- Support hardware replacement in collaboration with vendors.
- Activate new lines and migrate links.
*This position requires business-level fluency in both Japanese and English.

Required Skills:
- Business-level fluency in Japanese and English
- Practical experience in managing and operating Cisco switches and routers in LAN/WAN environments
- Practical experience in managing and operating Cisco/Palo Alto/Fortinet firewalls
- Practical experience in managing and operating Cisco Meraki/Aruba/Rukus wireless access points and wireless controllers
- Practical experience in managing and operating Zscaler services, including ZIA/ZPA/ZTA
- Practical experience in managing and operating F5 load balancers
- Practical experience in managing and operating Cisco Meraki devices, SD-WAN, and wireless systems
