Role Summary:
We'reseekinga skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join ourMarine DevOpsteam. DevOps is a development-oriented approach, and you will implement andmaintaina DevOps platform that supports developmentteamsfor our products. We are passionate about automating routines, infrastructure, and the whole software development lifecycle. Day-to-day,you will engage directly with internal customers, like Software Engineers, QA Engineers, andnumerousother teams,to betteroptimizetheir workflows through automation and well-designed systems. You will be involved in migrating applications to containers, deploying them in public clouds (AWS, Azure),deployingand promoting new services for internal clients, and automating every single part of those applications. Observability and security are also priorities.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS,Azure) using infrastructure as code (Terraform,OpenTofu).
Build andmaintainCI pipelines for automated builds andtests.
Develop and improvedeployment pipelines,whichincludeQA/Devenvironmentsand support the same for different product units acrossKaleris.
Drive platform modernization, self-service capabilities, and automate processes usingGitOpsapproaches and scripting.
Lead containerization and orchestrationinitiatives usingDockerandKubernetes.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development,and Quality Engineering teams to improve products andthedelivery process.
MentorJunior DevOps Engineers and promoteDevOpsbest practices across teams.
Maintainoperationalrunbooks,documentationand disaster recovery plans.
Drive observability initiatives using logging,metricsand tracing tools(e.g.,SumoLogic).
Leverage Kaleris managed security tools(e.g.,Wiz&Vanta toenforcesecurity best practices across internal and productionenvironments.
Requirements:
6+ years of professional experience, 3+ years of experience in DevOps,SoftwareEngineering, or similarroles.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS,Azure).
Demonstrated experience in architecting, managing, and operating complex applications deployed in AWS or Azure.
Experience inIaCTools (Terraform,OpenTofu,Packer,Ansible).
Extensive knowledge in creating and managingCI/CD/GitOpsPipelines(GitHub Actions,TeamCity,Jenkins,ArgoCD,Spacelift, etc.).
Skilled in Linux and Windows server maintenance andproficient in scripting&automation (Python,PowerShell,Bash).
Strong experience with container tooling and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
Proven experience managing production Kubernetes environments.
Familiarity with cloud security guidelines and best practices on public clouds.
Knowledge ofmonitoring/observabilitytools (SumoLogic,OpenTelemetry, Grafana, ELK).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability toanalyzeandsupportdistributed systems on a global scale

Adaptable and curious about AI-assisted tooling - actively uses tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude to work more effectively and stays current as the ecosystem evolves.
