Lead Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Role Overview :

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will spearhead the development and deployment of sophisticated machine learning models that drive strategic decision-making for our enterprise clients. You will act as the primary technical bridge between complex data architectures and business stakeholders, translating ambiguous requirements into actionable analytical roadmaps. Your daily contributions will involve mentoring high-performing engineering teams, refining model performance, and ensuring that our data products deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency and customer engagement across diverse industry verticals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, ensuring they meet rigorous performance standards and business objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to identify high-value opportunities where predictive analytics can optimize client workflows and revenue streams.

- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers by fostering a culture of technical rigor, code quality, and continuous learning.

- Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders to influence product strategy and long-term business planning.

- Implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to maintain model accuracy and relevance in dynamic production environments.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling machine learning and deep learning architectures using Python within large-scale production environments.

- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex project timelines while maintaining high standards of delivery and innovation.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to translate business problems into technical solutions for diverse client portfolios.

- A solid academic foundation in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, office-based environment in Pune, contributing to a high-performance team culture through proactive communication and problem-solving.
