About the job

As Partner, Client & Growth, you will lead strategic client relationships in Shanghai, helping senior clients address their most important business and growth challenges. You will work closely with clients to frame business problems, identify growth opportunities, and translate consumer, brand and market insights into clear strategic recommendations that create meaningful business impact.

This role brings together client leadership, commercial ownership, thought leadership and consultancy excellence. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will grow and strengthen client partnerships, shape innovative solutions to complex business questions, and help clients make confident decisions that drive sustainable growth.

Job Goals

• Grow senior client relationships by becoming a trusted advisor on critical business, brand and growth challenges.
• Build a strong business pipeline through existing client growth, new client development and collaboration across Kantar solutions.
• Shape strategic client thinking by connecting consumer insight, brand performance, category dynamics and market trends to inform business decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
• Lead consultative engagements that move beyond research delivery to influence marketing, innovation, portfolio and growth strategies.
• Own revenue, profitability, pricing and forecasting for the client portfolio, applying strong commercial discipline and account planning.
• Deliver impactful consultancy and insight solutions that help clients address complex business questions and create measurable value.
• Share thought leadership, market expertise and best practices across clients, teams and the wider Kantar network.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

• Experience leading senior client relationships within consumer insights, strategy consulting, management consulting, or insight-led business advisory environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience growing client portfolios, developing new business opportunities, and managing revenue and profitability.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business questions, develop strategic frameworks, and translate complex challenges into clear business recommendations.
• Experience synthesizing multiple data sources - including consumer, brand, category and market intelligence - into actionable insights and growth strategies.
• Strong understanding of FMCG and/or beverage categories, with the ability to engage senior marketing and commercial leaders as a trusted advisor.
