Senior Civil EngineerKBR, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East Linewide Alliance, is proud to be helping deliver one of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects.
SRL is a city-shaping program that will transform how people live, work and move around Melbourne. The 90km orbital rail line will connect every major train line, link key precincts, and support thriving communities across the city. SRL East, the first stage of the project, will deliver 26km of twin underground tunnels and six new stations between Cheltenham and Box Hill.
As part of the Linewide Alliance, KBR is delivering critical design services across civil, structural, track, drainage, power, systems and infrastructure disciplines that will support safe and reliable operations of the future rail network.
The Opportunity
As part of the Suburban Rail Loop Alliance, we are looking for enthusiastic and delivery-focused individuals to help deliver this city-shaping project and keep Victoria moving.
During this exciting growth period, we have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of complex roads and highways, rail and transport infrastructure solutions while supporting technical excellence across the project.
Whilst this position will initially join the SRL Alliance, this is a permanent role with KBR which opens the door to working on other iconic infrastructure projects nationally.
What You'll Brin g
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and experience delivering transport infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary environment, along with:
- Strong experience in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects across planning, design and construction phases.
- Strong technical capability and an ability to develop practical, fit-for purpose engineering solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Experience working within complex project environments.
- Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to build strong relationships across project teams and delivery partners.
