About us
Kenect is a leading AI-powered texting and reputation management platform used by 10,000+ dealerships and service businesses across North America. We help companies streamline communication, respond faster, and drive real revenue by converting their main business line into a text-enabled number and unifying messaging, reviews, payments, and customer conversations in one simple platform.
What sets Kenect apart from other communication tools is our deep industry expertise and seamless integrations with the systems dealers already use. Teams trust us because our technology is easy to adopt, built for real-world workflows, and delivers measurable improvements in speed, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
We’re a fast-growing, mission-driven team building technology that strengthens human connection in a digital-first world and we’re just getting started.
About This Role
Kenect is seeking a Marketing Operations leader to own the systems, data, and reporting infrastructure that powers our Marketing organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring our marketing technology and processes give the team accurate, actionable data from the first touch through pipeline and revenue.
HubSpot is our primary marketing platform, and you will own how it is architected and managed - including lead routing, lifecycle stages, workflows, data quality, and the connection between Marketing, Sales and Business Development. You’ll build the reporting and measurement framework that helps us understand not simply what Marketing is doing, but how those efforts are contributing to pipeline and revenue.
A meaningful portion of Kenect’s pipeline also comes through manufacturer partnerships and co-op-funded programs, adding another layer of complexity to our attribution model. You’ll build the structure needed to understand performance at multiple levels-including which campaign generated the opportunity, which partner and dealer were involved, and which co-op fund supported the investment.
This is more than a systems administration role. You’ll help create the operational foundation Marketing uses to make decisions, giving leaders clear visibility into funnel performance, attribution, investment, and revenue impact while continually improving the systems and processes behind it.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own HubSpot end to end, including architecture, data model, lifecycle stages, workflows, automation, and integrations across the broader marketing technology stack.
- Define and maintain lead and pipeline stages in partnership with Sales, BusApps (Business Applications), and Revenue Operations, creating clear standards for how leads move through the funnel and ensuring those standards are consistently followed.
- Build attribution and reporting that leadership can trust, connecting Marketing activity to pipeline and revenue while accounting for the additional complexity of partner- and co-op-sourced opportunities.
- Own campaign operations across Marketing, supporting Paid Media, Demand Generation, Content, and Events to ensure campaigns are properly structured, tracked, tested, and launched accurately and on time.
- Own marketing data quality, including enrichment, deduplication, list hygiene, and the processes and controls needed to keep data accurate over time.
- Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, evaluating what we use, identifying opportunities to consolidate or eliminate tools, and making recommendations on where new technology can improve performance or efficiency.
- Build forecasting and pacing models alongside Operations partners, giving Marketing and leadership visibility throughout the quarter into performance against pipeline and revenue targets - not just after the quarter ends.
- Establish scalable Marketing Operations governance, including naming conventions, UTM standards, campaign setup, request intake, and documentation that creates consistency across the organization and can scale with the business.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or Revenue Operations, with meaningful ownership of the systems and processes behind the work-not simply experience using them.
- Deep expertise in HubSpot or a comparable platform, with the technical knowledge and confidence to serve as the internal authority on architecture, workflows, lifecycle stages, integrations, and reporting.
- Proven experience building attribution models and reporting that can stand up to scrutiny from Revenue, Finance, and executive leadership and clearly connect Marketing activity to pipeline and revenue.
- A strong partnership mindset with Sales. You know how to work alongside Sales and Revenue Operations to solve problems, establish shared processes, and create alignment around the funnel.
- Comfort building from a blank page. There isn’t an established playbook to inherit, so you’re energized by creating the structure, standards, documentation, and processes that Marketing needs to scale.
- A strong combination of technical depth and business judgment. You understand the systems and the data, but you also know how to translate them into insights and recommendations that help the business make better decisions.
