Why Keyrus, Why Now!

Keyrus is an international group of 3,000 experts across 30 countries, built on a single conviction: AI does not transform businesses. Architected intelligence does.

For more than 30 years, we have helped organizations build the data foundations that power intelligent systems. Today, we go further by designing and operationalizing intelligence that delivers measurable business value.

Building AI capabilities is only part of the challenge. Real transformation happens when those capabilities work within existing business systems, data environments, workflows, and processes.

At Keyrus, you'll work closely with clients to develop, optimize, and support enterprise data and analytics solutions, combining Databricks, data engineering, and business intelligence capabilities to deliver reliable business insights.

Technology amplifies. Keyrus culture differentiates. Industrial discipline connects the two.

Role details

  • Location: United States (Remote)
  • Contract: full-time

What you'll architect

As a Senior Data Consultant, you'll support and enhance enterprise data and analytics environments, with a strong focus on Databricks engineering, data pipelines, and production support.

You'll develop and optimize data transformations, maintain reliable analytics pipelines, and troubleshoot complex issues across production environments, while contributing to reporting and business intelligence solutions, including Power BI.

Your role requires technical autonomy, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions under demanding client expectations while contributing to continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Databricks data pipelines and transformations using Python, PySpark, SQL, and notebooks.
  • Support modern lakehouse and medallion architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold), ensuring reliable processing of structured and semi-structured data.
  • Troubleshoot data quality, pipeline performance, and production issues, ensuring consistency and reliability across analytics environments.
  • Perform QA validation and gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and delivered data solutions.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models when required.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
  • Own technical deliverables end-to-end with minimal oversight, supporting enhancements, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to documentation, technical standards, and emerging AI-assisted workflows, including MCP server-based reporting and agentic data engineering practices.

Who you are

You are an experienced Data Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, SQL, and modern data engineering. You are comfortable working independently in demanding production environments, investigating complex technical issues, and delivering reliable analytics solutions. You bring strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a consulting mindset, with the flexibility to contribute to business intelligence and reporting initiatives.

What you bring

Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data consulting, or related data and analytics roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing Databricks pipelines and data transformations.
  • Proven experience working with modern lakehouse architectures, distributed data environments, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience supporting production analytics environments, including QA validation, gap analysis, and incident resolution.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams, with ownership of technical deliverables.

Technical skills

  • Strong Databricks development experience using PySpark, Python, SQL, and notebooks.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including data transformations, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Lakehouse and medallion architecture principles (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
  • Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices, version control, and development workflows.
  • Experience with distributed data environments, pipeline orchestration, and production data support.
  • Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development and agentic data engineering workflows.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on Power BI development, including DAX, data modeling, and report performance optimization.
  • Experience with MCP servers or similar orchestration frameworks.
  • Consulting experience in demanding client environments.
  • Experience supporting migrations, divestitures, or complex transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SAP Datasphere.
  • Experience contributing to AI-assisted or agentic data engineering practices.

What makes you successful

  • You build and maintain reliable Databricks data solutions.
  • You troubleshoot complex production issues independently.
  • You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • You maintain high standards of data quality and delivery.

What we offer at Keyrus

  • A stimulating environment where you will be able to surpass yourself and discover new horizons.
  • A strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • Health insurance for you and your family members.
  • 401K plan.
  • Monthly Wellness Allowance.
  • 4 weeks of paid vacation.
  • Language courses (French & English).
  • Access to continuing education (in-house, conferences, events, courses, certifications, etc.).
