This internship is a minimum of 3 months but can be extended up to a year depending on the project and candidates availability.

Responsibilities

As a Process Integration Intern within the Keysight Labs/High Frequency Technology Center, you will contribute to and support the development of next-generation heterogeneous integration and advanced packaging technologies at Keysight. Working alongside experienced Process integration engineers, you will help evaluate, develop, and optimize fabrication processes used to manufacture advanced semiconductor devices and interposer technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the planning, execution, and documentation of engineering experiments to evaluate process, material, and equipment performance.

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting process, defectivity, metrology, and electrical test data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Investigating process integration challenges and supporting root cause analysis of yield, quality, and reliability issues.

  • Collaborating with process, equipment, yield, metrology, and product engineers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Evaluating the interaction of process steps across the manufacturing flow and assessing their impact on device performance, yield, and manufacturability

  • Supporting the characterization and qualification of new materials, process flows, and manufacturing technologies.

  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including experiment plans, procedures, reports, and presentations.

  • Presenting technical findings and recommendations to engineering teams and project stakeholders.

  • Following established safety, quality, and cleanroom operating procedures while working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in a cutting-edge semiconductor R&D environment while contributing to technologies that enable Keysight's next generation of products.
