Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall quality strategy for products and releases.
- Lead test planning, risk assessment, and quality assurance initiatives across multiple projects.
- Establish and promote QA standards, best practices, and scalable testing processes.
- Drive test automation strategy and continuous improvement efforts.
- Analyze complex product issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Support teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor quality metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to improve product quality.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering technical growth and quality ownership.
- Influence product and engineering decisions through quality-focused leadership.
- Champion innovation by evaluating and implementing new tools, technologies, and AI-driven QA solutions.
- Support release readiness reviews and provide quality-related go/no-go recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
· Advanced knowledge of networking TCP/IP protocols
· Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
· Strong scripting and automation skills, with Python preferred.
· Solid Linux operating system knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
· Experience with automation frameworks and automated testing systems.
· Familiarity with AI-powered development, testing, and debugging tools.
· Ability to leverage AI technologies to improve test automation, failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and QA productivity.
· Experience working in an Agile development environment.
· Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
· Working knowledge of tools and technologies such as Wireshark, Git, Jenkins, automation test harnesses, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
· Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with QA, Development, Support teams, and customers.
· Open to mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior team members.
