We're looking for a Staff QA Automation Engineer to drive quality engineering across Keychain's web platform, APIs, and integrations. This is a hands-on IC role focused on automation, test architecture, and solving complex quality challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the QA automation strategy across web, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Build and scale robust Playwright-based automation frameworks.
  • Design and maintain functional, regression, integration, and E2E test suites.
  • Drive API automation and testing for microservices and third-party integrations.
  • Improve test coverage, reliability, execution speed, and CI/CD integration.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to identify quality risks and prevent defects.
  • Debug complex failures and contribute to QA architecture, tooling, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of QA/Software Testing experience with strong automation expertise.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Playwright and modern automation frameworks.
  • Strong experience with API testing and automation.
  • Strong understanding of test architecture, CI/CD, and web applications.
  • Proven experience as a hands-on IC, owning technical problems end-to-end.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AWS/cloud environments and product/startup companies is a plus.
