Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP MDM professional to join our team in Chennai to lead the design, implementation, and governance of complex master data landscapes. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business process owners and technical delivery teams, ensuring that master data integrity is maintained across the enterprise. You will work closely with global stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust SAP S/4HANA solutions, directly influencing the accuracy of financial reporting, supply chain efficiency, and operational decision-making. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving data harmonization strategies that enable seamless digital transformation for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy end-to-end SAP MDM solutions to ensure high-quality data standards across the S/4HANA ecosystem.
- Lead data migration and cleansing initiatives for global clients to minimize operational downtime and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance policies that align with organizational business objectives.
- Troubleshoot complex master data issues within Master Data Services to maintain system stability and user productivity.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on best practices for data modeling and integration to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing SAP MDM and Master Data Services frameworks within large-scale S/4HANA environments.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical data strategies to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to solve intricate data mapping and integration challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to facilitate workshops and drive consensus among diverse global project teams.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Chennai, balancing independent technical execution with collaborative team efforts.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 8 - 10 years of relevant professional experience.
