With a strong reputation for quality, safety, schedule performance, and delivering projects on budget, the company is experiencing continued growth and seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Cleveland, Ohio operations.

About the Position

The Project Manager will oversee federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with the Project Superintendent and project team. Responsibilities include scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, contract administration, project financials, RFIs, submittals, change management, and client communication.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who can anticipate challenges, manage competing priorities, and build strong relationships with clients and project partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage federal construction projects from startup through closeout.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, design professionals, and clients.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor procurement and long-lead items.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, job costs, and profitability.
• Lead client meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal facility requirements, security protocols, and contract requirements.
• Support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Federal construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing commercial or federal projects valued at $1M+.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
• Experience with project financials, forecasting, cost-to-complete, and change management.
• Proficiency with Procore and construction management software preferred.
• Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• AIA billing and PMP certification are a plus.
