(Junior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Typescript/Javascript

We are a cross-functional engineering team dedicated to empowering sports clients worldwide. We build the vital applications used to configure and control our advanced tracking systems. By translating complex tracking data into intuitive visual analytics, we help athletes and coaches maximize their performance. Our tech stack spans frontend and backend development, along with seamless 3rd-party API integrations.

OUR TECH STACK

• Backend: Our services are mostly driven by TypeScript/JavaScript, with some components built in PHP. We manage data across a variety of databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Frontend: We build our modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular.
• Testing: To ensure high quality and reliability, we rely on a comprehensive testing strategy that includes unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end (E2E) testing with Cypress.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Fullstack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and improving our digital solutions:

• Design and continuously enhance modern system architectures.
• Develop and build user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Create and optimize frontends for various web applications.
• Implement, maintain, and further develop backend systems.
• Independently plan, execute, and monitor projects and development processes.
• Conceptualize and implement testing strategies to ensure software quality.
• Design and implement interfaces (APIs).
• Design and visualize intuitive user interfaces.
• Prepare technical and user documentation.
• Create presentation and training materials.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

  (or equivalent practical experience)

Frontend Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Angular or a strong willingness to learn it.

Backend & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience with backend technologies, ideally Node.js and/or PHP.
• Solid understanding of APIs and interface design.

Cloud & Tools

• Initial experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Confident use of Git and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment processes.

Languages & Interests

• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Passion for sports-our products are directly used in the sports industry.

Working Style & Soft Skills

• Structured, analytical, and independent way of working.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and initiative.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
