KION Group is a German company created in 2006 when Linde separated its materials handling division, and it is now one of the largest makers of forklift trucks and warehouse automation systems in the world. Its industrial truck business sells under the Linde and STILL brands across Europe and beyond, while Dematic supplies the conveyors, robotics, storage systems and control software behind large automated distribution centres. Headquartered in Frankfurt and listed there, it earns a growing share of revenue from service and from software rather than from equipment sales alone.
Dematic Corp. has an immediate opening for a Senior Controls Engineer for its Lifecycle Services and Solutions - Modernizations & Upgrades organization. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience and the ability to perform complex, diverse engineering work for material handling systems.

This role ensures Dematic project standards across hardware, software, electrical (power and safety), and system solutions. It manages the engineering deliverables required to advance projects from kickoff through customer acceptance. In close partnership with the Project Manager, the Senior Controls Engineer translates customer technical requirements into actionable engineering tasks and helps ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role also supports project teams through technical design reviews, training, and application guidance.
