Lubrication Technicians work in a fast-paced industrial environment that is transforming with technological advancements that make the work environment safer and more efficient. This role will perform various lubrication functions on industrial equipment to support our operations and reliability of industrial equipment.

Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm Monday- Fridaywith weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. There may be some flexibility around the shift start and end times depending upon candidate need and business need.

The Fort Dodge Gypsum facilities employs approximately 150 individuals in helping Georgia-Pacific as one of the nation’s leading gypsum board manufacturers. What You Will Do

• Responsible for lubrication of equipment assets, maintaining lube room, equipment, and storage
• Work with site personnel to ensure all equipment assets are lubricated with correct lubricant types and quantities, and in the correct intervals
• Collaborate with reliability and planning groups to ensure a preventive maintenance (PM) system is set up to adequately lubricate equipment
• Pulling and processing oil samples, maintain all records pertaining to this process
• Participate in RCA (root cause analysis) process
• Performing all assigned tasks at or above industry standard and document tolerances and other information as required
• Utilize MOE and MP2 to create value-added work requests and prioritize upcoming work assignments
• Maintain auto lube systems
• Applying best environmental practices to all storage, transportation and disposal of all oils and lubricants, containers and residue

• Demonstrates initiative to complete scheduled jobs

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• One (1) year or more of industrial maintenance experience OR training in the maintenance field
• Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions

What Will Put You Ahead

• Associate’s degree or certificate in maintenance-related field
• Experience in maintenance or lubrication technician role
• Experience analyzing equipment component failures, troubleshooting, and recommending preventive maintenance improvements

• MLT-1 certification
