Senior Manager, Visual Offering
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Offering Manager to join the Global New Building Solutions Offering team within Commercial & Operations.
Our purpose is to provide customer centric, competitive and fit-for-purpose offering to lead markets, improve profitability and grow service business.
In this role, you will own KONE's global visual offering portfolio, including user interface devices, in-car displays, digital content and customer-facing materials.
You will work closely with frontlines, areas, R&D and Supply Chain to shape the future roadmap, bring new solutions to market and deliver a differentiated customer experience globally. The role has a direct impact on customer experience, portfolio competitiveness and profitability.
This is a truly global role based in Kunshan or Shanghai, China, with stakeholders located across all KONE geographies.
Key responsibilities:
- Own KONE's global visual offering portfolio, including user interface devices, displays and customer-facing materials.
- Work with areas and frontlines to build an actionable roadmap for the future that meets customer expectations while still ensuring competitiveness.
- Work with R&D, Supply Chain and our Modernization Business Line colleagues to make that roadmap a reality.
- Drive successful launch and adoption of new offerings while ensuring a smooth phase-out of legacy offerings.
- Manage offering simplification and harmonization while ensuring global cost competitiveness. Set targets for cost, quality and lead times.
- Ensure efficient commercialization of new offering through global sample availability, clear deployment plans and effective frontline readiness.
- Lead competitive benchmarking and customer insight generation in your area of responsibility to ensure KONE maintains a differentiated and market-leading visual offering portfolio.
- Drive offering decisions that increase lifecycle value, service retention and customer engagement throughout the building lifecycle.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in offering management, product management, portfolio management, or a similar commercial role. Understanding of KONE offerings and go-to-market processes is an advantage.
- Strong business and commercial acumen, including profitability, cost competitiveness, value proposition development, and business case creation.
- Experience working in a global environment with people from different countries and cultures.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with R&D to develop competitive offerings.
- A customer-focused and results-driven mindset, with the energy and persistence to drive offerings from concept to market success.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills. Ability to simplify complexity, align stakeholders, and drive change across a matrix organization.
- Full professional proficiency in English. Chinese language skills are an advantage.
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365, data analysis, and presentations.
- Ability to work independently, influence and challenge senior stakeholders through fact-based recommendations.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
