Production Technician

Our client within the manufacturing industry is currently looking for technicians to join their dynamic team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carry out planned, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems;
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process-related faults to minimise downtime;
• Inspect, monitor, and test equipment to identify potential issues and improve reliability, efficiency, and safety;
• Assist with the installation, modification, commissioning, and improvement of machinery and equipment using technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools;
• Perform additional technical tasks, including welding, gas cutting, brazing, lubrication, and plumbing, where appropriately trained and authorised;
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure effective shift handovers, including communication of equipment status and outstanding maintenance tasks;
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to resolve technical issues, provide support, and share technical knowledge;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company procedures, housekeeping standards, and applicable quality and environmental requirements.

This role operates on a rotating three-shift basis.
