We are looking for a Backend SDE 3 who will design, build, and scale highly reliable distributed systems. This role requires strong system design skills, an ownership mindset, and experience working in high-traffic, mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable backend services using microservices architecture.
Build secure, high-performance APIs handling large transaction volumes.
Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
Optimise systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade code.
Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

Requirements:

5-8 years of backend development experience.
Strong expertise in Java / Spring Boot (or equivalent backend stack).
Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Solid understanding of system design, caching, scalability and performance tuning.
Experience in fintech / high-transaction systems is a plus.
