Senior Script and & Content Creator

About the Role We are looking for a senior script writer who will also act as the on-camera content creator for KOTS. You will write original scripts and perform them yourself on camera, taking each idea from first concept to final performance. Experience Requirement

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in script writing and on-camera content creation, with a portfolio of scripts you have written and videos you have performed in.

Key

Responsibilities

• Generate original content ideas and develop them into clear concepts for short-form and long-form video
• Write complete scripts for Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, and brand films, including hooks, dialogue, voiceovers, and on-screen text
• Act in and present your own scripts on camera as the brand's content creator
• Record voiceovers for your scripts
• Create recurring content series, characters, and formats that give the brand a recognisable storytelling style
• Follow content trends and new formats to keep ideas and scripts fresh

Required Skills

• Strong script writing skills, including hooks, story structure, pacing, and dialogue
• Confident on-camera presence with natural acting and presenting skills
• Ability to write in a conversational voice that works when performed on camera and in voiceover
• Strong understanding of short-form video formats and what keeps viewers watching
• Ability to conceptualize content independently, without being confined to a predefined brand template or style
• Basic video editing skills using simple tools such as Canva and CapCut
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Portfolio of past scripts and on-camera videos is mandatory Preferred Skills
• Experience writing scripts for video ads

There is no restriction on the brand, tool, or style used to create these samples - candidates are free to showcase original or freelance work made in their own creative approach. Applications will be shortlisted purely on the quality, creativity, and storytelling of the scripts and on-camera performance.
