Join our snack-loving team
We’re looking for a Technical Operator to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you - this could be your next big move.
Who are we?
We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love - from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.
About the role
In this hands-on role, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, helping to produce the quality snacks our customers love. You’ll operate machinery, monitor quality, and keep things running smoothly to meet production targets. It’s a great opportunity to make a real impact in a team where your contribution matters, whether you're bringing previous manufacturing experience or are ready to learn new skills on the job. With full training and a strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration, this is a role that offers development, stability and the chance to be part of something bigger.
What’s in it for you?
We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:
Starting salary of £35,536.80 during the initial training period on a three-shift rotation, increasing to £38,160.16 upon successful transition to the two's and three's continental shift pattern
KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions
25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days for more flexibility
Comprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme
KP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback, wellbeing tools and everyday savings
Enhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life
What will you be doing?
Operating packing and processing machinery to meet production goals
Tackling operational challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Working as part of a team to maintain high standards across the line
Making a difference by contributing to continuous improvement and quality
Learning to carry out product testing and machine changeovers
Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:
A good level of literacy and numeracy, with attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues
Experience in manufacturing or food production (or a willingness to learn)
Food Safety Level 2 is desirable - but don’t worry, we provide full training
A proactive, can-do attitude that aligns with our values of ownership and collaboration
