Maintenance Technician

Join KPM as a Maintenance Technician and contribute to maintaining the quality and safety of our residential communities.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure all housing units and facilities are in excellent working condition. Your role is crucial in enhancing the living experience of our residents through timely and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute repairs and maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Address resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist with unit turnover and maintenance preparation for new residents.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify and rectify potential maintenance issues.
• Keep maintenance tools and inventory organized and well-stocked.
• Collaborate with property management to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and industry regulations at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of common residential systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
