About The Role

We're hiring a Principal AI Engineer at KreditBee, Bangalore. What if your next role meant building the AI platform that every team in the company builds on We're looking for a hands-on technical leader to own the design, scaling and future of our AI Platform and Generative AI stack. This is not a slides-and-strategy role. You'll set the architecture and stay close to the code where the critical decisions get made.

What You'll Build And Lead

• Enterprise-grade AI platforms for model serving, orchestration and AI-powered workflows.
• Production LLM solutions : fine-tuning, inference optimization, evaluation frameworks.
• Advanced RAG pipelines : ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking.
• Agentic AI : multi-agent systems with tool calling, planning and memory that execute reliably.
• LLMOps/MLOps : deploying, monitoring, versioning and continuously improving models.
• Resilient, low-latency distributed systems on Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Guardrails, governance and cost efficiency for AI at scale.
• The next generation of senior engineers, through mentoring and architecture reviews.
  
  

What You Bring

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, vector databases and agentic systems.
• Strong Python and production-grade backend skills.
• Proven experience with microservices, event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• A track record of taking AI from proof of concept to reliable production.
• Technical leadership : you influence direction across Product, Data Science and ML teams.

• Building AI platforms used by multiple teams.
• Experience with model gateways, inference serving and evaluation pipelines.
• Optimizing LLM latency, throughput and token costs.
