RF Engineer

Your mission

Your mission will be to support the design, simulation, assembly and testing of RF and microwave antennas used in our air-breathing plasma thrusters, helping transform advanced research into robust, flight-ready hardware.

You will work closely with propulsion, plasma physics and systems teams in a hands-on environment, contributing to laboratory testing, data analysis and design iterations.

Your profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics or a related field
• Background in RF/microwave engineering or antennas, gained through professional experience, research or academic projects
• Strong interest in space technologies, electric propulsion and experimental work
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment and interacting with hardware
• Fluent in English

We are open to candidates at different levels of experience. The role and responsibilities can be adapted based on seniority.

Specific Knowledge

• RF and microwave fundamentals (impedance matching, S-parameters, antennas)
• Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, CST, COMSOL or similar)
• Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meters)
• Ability to support antenna tuning, RF testing and post-processing of measurement data
• Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, MATLAB or similar)
• Knowledge of plasma systems, EMC/EMI or space hardware is considered a plus
