The Role

Join our dynamic team as a Customer Technology Advisor and become an integral part of our cutting-edge Go-To-Market team. As a certified expert in your field, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing technology solutions for our valued customers, with AI at the core. Working hand in hand with our Kyndryl Consult Partners and customer partners, you will leverage your technical and solution expertise to drive targeted opportunities and exceed customer expectations.

In this role, you will be a trusted ally and visionary, delivering differentiated value through engaging demos and compelling presentations that showcase our industry credibility. What You Will Do

• Lead and Coordinate Pre-Sales: Lead the entire pre-sales process to ensure high-quality, compliant solutions that adhere to Kyndryl best practices.
• Support Cross-Functional Teams: Support Consulting, Advisory, and Architecture activities across Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery in close collaboration with Customer Partners and Kyndryl Consult Partners.
• Develop Strategic Solutions: Identify complex customer business and technical requirements, leveraging Kyndryl's capabilities to generate winning, profitable, cross-practice deals.
• Integrate & Modernize Systems: Design and execute modernization strategies while integrating mainframe databases and core systems with modern cloud platforms.
• Drive Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce winning responses and create optimal technical architectures.
• Nurture Alliance Partnerships: Actively build relationships with external alliance partners to foster a collaborative environment and co-create joint offerings.
• Demonstrate Tangible Value: Develop and deliver compelling demonstrations, proofs of concept, and prototypes that showcase the practical value of our solutions.
• Showcase Technical Authority: Apply deep domain expertise and external certifications to serve as a recognized subject matter expert across practice subdomains.

Required Skills and Experience

• Deep domain knowledge of service offerings and technical solutions within a consulting practice.
• Demonstrated experience translating complex technical knowledge into actionable customer insights and strategic solutions.
• Proven background in consultative selling and pre-sales architecture.
• Recognized external technical certifications supporting relevant subdomain areas (e.g., Application Data & AI, Cloud, Core Enterprise & zCloud, Digital Workplace, Network & Edge, or Security & Resiliency).
• Proficiency in IBM mainframe infrastructure, z/OS systems, middleware (CICS, DB2, IMS), and replication solutions.
• Strong background in mainframe DB2 system programming, DBA responsibilities, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Proven ability to design and execute system modernization and cloud integration strategies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience selling and delivering technical services to multi-industry enterprise customers.
• Hands-on experience developing joint go-to-market solutions with strategic alliance partners.
