The Role
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Scope:
Automation team drives solutions & initiatives to optimize & minimize manual interventions on the clients’ environment by supporting Automation tools focusing in Kyndryl strategy.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Knowledge of Automation tools for example Broadcom OPS MVS, Mainview Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, System Automation;
* Knowledge on Automation Point tool;
* Knowledge on logical / structured programming;
* Deeply REXX programming knowledge;
* High skill on migraton tools knowledge (for example BMC AO to System Automation);
* Maintenance & upgrades;
* Develop disaster recovery and high availability knowledge processes;
* Knowledge on change and incidents tools in order to create & maintenance automated solutions;
* Fluent English Level.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
* Perform z/OS automation software conversion/transformation;
* Create integration between z/OS automation software and other platforms or tools, such as z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, MainView, ServiceNow, Remedy, Netcool, etc;
* Install and customize, upgrade GDPS, integrate new systems into an existing GDPS environment
* Implement, test and validate Hyperswap;
* Prepare and validate other software and hardware upgrades (Mainframes, z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2, MQ, etc.);
* AI knowledge and practical implementations.
