Business Development Associate (Enterprise Business)

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Associate to acquire and grow enterprise clients for our Large 4 Wheeler delivery services. The associate will identify potential businesses across relevant industries, convert inbound inquiries, conduct outbound acquisition, and develop customized solutions and pricing based on client requirements. The associate will also build and maintain strong client relationships, drive order growth and retention, and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

What You'll Do:

1. Acquisition

(a) Inbound - Convert incoming client inquiries into new enterprise businesses for Large 4 Wheelers (up to 18 Feet Open/Covered Trucks)

(b) Outbound - Proactively acquire new clients and reactivate churned enterprise businesses for Large 4 Wheelers accounts across industries that require frequent both intra-city & inter-city delivery businesses (including but not limited to RMG, FMCG, consumer goods, electronics, furniture, construction materials, industrial equipment, pharmaceuticals, and wholesale/distribution businesses).

(c) Develop customized solutions and pricing based on client requirements while maintaining a fair balance between merchant needs and driver partner earnings.

2. Retention: Drive consistent order generation and service utilization from the existing client base by identifying needs, resolving concerns, and tracking performance through internal tools.

3. Campaign Management & User Education: Run PDS (promotion, discount, subsidy) strategies to boost acquisition and order growth, and educate clients via in-app messages, SMS, and other channels.

What We Seek:

• Strong sales skills with the ability to identify prospects, understand customer needs, and effectively pitch Lalamove’s solutions and USPs.
• Proven ability to acquire and onboard new clients across target industries (including but not limited to RMG, FMCG, consumer goods, electronics, furniture, construction materials, industrial equipment, pharmaceuticals, and wholesale/distribution businesses).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence potential clients.
• A confident and personable approach to build and maintain strong relationships with businesses.
• Comfortable with cold outreach, field visits, negotiations, follow-ups, and converting prospects into active clients.
• A can-do attitude with strong ownership and the drive to identify opportunities and make things happen.

What You'll Need:

• A university degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or a related field
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, manufacturing, RMG, or other enterprise-focused businesses will be considered a strong advantage.
• Ability to conduct cold outreach, client visits, presentations, negotiations, and follow-ups independently.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bangla.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace, with the ability to maintain sales pipelines and reports.
• A proactive, target-driven mindset with strong ownership and willingness to take initiative.
