Business Analyst

We're Hiring: IT Business Analyst | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Location: Pavilion, Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days per week in the office

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a technology team supporting the development and delivery of online medical claims and member enrolment solutions for Korea and Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Analyze, design, and document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes.
• Prepare process maps, business requirements, and functional documentation.
• Support release planning, scope management, and product backlog grooming.
• Develop UAT test scenarios and scripts and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Validate system functionality to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product deployment and end-user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and solution design.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process modelling skills.
• Practical experience with SQL queries and database analysis.
• Experience with user stories, UAT, stakeholder management, and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Insurance domain knowledge, particularly medical claims or member enrolment.
• Experience with international projects involving Korea or Japan.
• Japanese or Korean language proficiency.
• Experience in project planning and delivery in dynamic environments.
