Title: Formulation Cost Center Lead
Area: Cost Center 50
SHIFT: 1st 6:00 AM to 2:00 pm
PAY: $29.15 per hour. Compensation may be adjusted upward based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direction of the Area Manager, the Formulation Cost Center Lead is responsible for assisting on all duties related to the safe, profitable, environmentally sound and efficient operations of assigned Cost Center(s). Duties include working with and training personnel to operate manufacturing and packaging equipment, as well as oversees all procedures involved in the production area. The Cost Center Lead ensures all employees follow all procedures, GMPs, Safety, and Quality plans, along with ensures all employees are productive and competent in their respective roles. Assist with production reports (batch sheets, non-conformities, check sheets, lot alerts, daily reports, etc.). Encourage teamwork within the company.

This role is part of our Omnium business who is a loyal partner in the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
- Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
- Able to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment
- Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production process
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
- Collaborates and follows the instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments
- Other duties as assigned Required Experience and Skills:
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year or more of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful Preferred Experience:
- 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
- Machine operation and/or forklift experience Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
