At Lanterna, we work with IBDP & MYP schools around the world who are suffering from teacher supply gaps, and with individual IB students who need extra support to reach their potential. We want you to come and work with us to deliver engaging, technically-excellent lessons to learners around the world - from Okinawa to Oslo, London to Lisbon, in an online capacity.

School Placement Teachers: Deliver synchronous lessons to schools around the world, for anything from one week to a full school year. Perfect for teachers without a full timetable, or those looking to supplement their in-school work in the evenings or weekends.
1:1 Tutoring: You will work 1-on-1 with IB students online, supporting them across their IB journey. This means preparing sessions, building teaching plans tailored to each student's needs, running lessons, setting homework, giving feedback, and helping your student finish their course with more knowledge and confidence.
What we're looking for
In-depth subject knowledge of IB MYP and/or IBDP syllabi, kept up to date with the latest curriculum changes
A current or recent IB teacher, and/or IB Examiner
Excellent communication skills with young learners
You have your own reliable setup, laptop, microphone, and a stable internet connection
Comfort with (or willingness to learn) digital teaching tools and delivering synchronous online lessons
Willingness to undergo safeguarding and background checks
Pay
Pay varies depending on the type of work and school contract:
School placement teaching: £40/hour per live teaching hour
Tutoring as an IB teacher: £27/hour
Tutoring as an IB teacher with IB Examiner experience: £35/hour
