  1. Daily Transactions: Record and verify all daily journal entries (receipts, payments, and adjusting entries) in the ERP system.

  2. Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and balance account reconciliations for AR, AP, and petty cash.

  3. Document Verification: Audit incoming invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents for completeness and approval compliance.

  4. Tax Compliance: Prepare and compile data required for VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax filings within statutory deadlines.

  5. Payroll Assistance: Help compute monthly payroll, employee allowances, deductions, advances, and end-of-service benefits.

  6. Inventory & Asset Control: Participate in periodic physical stock/cash counts and record fixed asset depreciation.

  7. Period-End Closing: Prepare initial trial balances and assist in generating monthly/annual financial reports.

  8. Audit Support: Prepare schedules, work papers, and supporting documents requested by external auditors.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on general accounting experience.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle).

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
