Associate Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders and senior Business Analysts to understand business objectives, user needs, and project requirements.
• Support the elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation of business and system requirements through discussions, interviews, and workshops.
• Analyze existing business processes and prepare AS-IS and TO-BE process flows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain key documentation, including BRDS, FRDS/SRSS, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as a communication bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and QA teams.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create wireframes, screen designs, and prototypes to communicate proposed solutions.
• Maintain the project backlog, requirement traceability, action items, and status reports.
• Participate actively across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements to design, testing, UAT, and implementation.
• Support test scenario preparation and UAT coordination, helping resolve issues identified by users.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and ambiguities in requirements and raise them with the right stakeholders.
• Recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Assist with project management/coordinate tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Project Coordination, Product Support, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Balsamiq, Visio, or Drawio, along with basic knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs, or system integrations, and exposure to UAT coordination or software testing, will be considered an added advantage
• Domain knowledge in areas like Retail/POS, CRM, E-commerce, Supply Chain, ERP, or HR systems is a plus, but candidates without this background are equally welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• A good grasp of business analysis techniques and requirement documentation.
• Basic understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and/or Waterfall.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to spot gaps or inconsistencies in requirements.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities under pressure.
