At LeadSquared, our Converse platform powers conversations across WhatsApp, SMS, push and other channels and is used across multiple products.

We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer to own and scale high-throughput, distributed and event-driven systems.

What you'll do:

- Design and build scalable, multi-tenant backend systems

- Own messaging pipelines and third-party integrations

- Drive architecture, technical design and production reliability

- Mentor engineers and lead larger technical workstreams

- Work across backend and real-time user-facing systems

What we're looking for:

- 6+ years of backend engineering experience

- Strong Node.js/TypeScript, Java, Go or C#

- Experience with distributed/event-driven systems

- Strong React + TypeScript experience

- Hands-on experience with APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure

- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives

- Good to have: Kafka/Pulsar/Kinesis, Redis Streams, AWS, WebSockets, CPaaS/messaging platforms, multi-tenant SaaS.
