The Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and executing warehouse operations and procedures in order to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency so that all product, supply and equipment needs are met throughout the venue. Under the direction management, this individual will be supporting the preparation process for events by overseeing tasks and delegating responsibilities to warehouse staff. A top priority will be to ensure that the highest levels of safety, organization and sanitation are maintained throughout all warehousing and storage areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and plans all warehousing activities with Management team.
  • Delegates responsibilities to Warehouse associates.
  • Assists with the intake of deliveries by receiving, storing and distributing all items to the designated storage locations.
  • Oversees the proper execution of delivering food, beverage and other products throughout the venue in a safe andtimely manner.
  • Collects invoices from all new product deliveries as they are received.
  • Responsible for comparing Purchase Orders to what was delivered and communicates any variances or discrepancies to management.
  • Uses storage systems, policies and procedures to ensure maximum use and efficiency of space and storage areas in warehousing operations while utilizing first-in, first-out inventory controls where applicable.
  • Submits reports to management regarding any damage, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments,return of goods to vendor, etc.
  • Inspects stands for deficiencies and reports any and all concerns to Management.
  • Assists with moving any equipment as required for events throughout the venue.
  • Performs general housekeeping and cleaning as needed around all Concessions and Warehouse areas.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required by Management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the receipt, storage or distribution of food and beverage, supplies or equipment preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
  • Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
  • Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Education

  • Preferred
  • High School or better.

Licenses & Certifications:

Required - RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring, if necessary)

Preferred - Forklift Certification

Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
