THE OPPORTUNITY

Legion is hiring a Full-Stack Product Designer to own the experience from the first ad or landing page through onboarding and ongoing care. You will combine deep product design with strong visual, brand, and web craft, helping patients understand what Legion does, get into care, and feel confident about what comes next.

You will work closely with Growth, Product, Engineering, and the founders. Your work will span patient experiences, clinician and operator tools, the website, landing pages, lifecycle touchpoints, and acquisition creative. A shared, prioritized backlog will make the tradeoffs between core product delivery and growth experiments explicit.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with end-to-end design ownership: understand the problem, explore alternatives, prototype, craft the interface, contribute directly to implementation, and improve the shipped result. Full-stack means breadth across the design process and product/growth surfaces, including regularly shipping well-scoped production PRs in close partnership with Engineering.

AI-native design is a core expectation of this role. You will use tools such as v0, Claude Design, Figma AI, Cursor, and comparable tools throughout the design process-not as occasional add-ons, but as everyday tools for divergent exploration, interactive prototyping, implementation, and rapid iteration.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

• Translate user needs and complex care workflows into clear journeys, information architecture, interaction flows, prototypes, and polished interfaces.

• Design patient onboarding and ongoing care experiences alongside clinician and operator workflows, with particular attention to clarity, trust, accessibility, and mobile usability.

• Define complete interaction states, including loading, empty, error, permission, and recovery experiences; write clear interface copy and remove avoidable dead ends.

• Build a practical design system with reusable components, patterns, and guidance that helps the team ship consistently and quickly.

• Ship production PRs regularly. This is a product-design role-not a software-engineering role-but you are expected to work directly in the codebase and open production-quality PRs for well-scoped changes such as instrumentation, internal tools, workflow logic, UI and copy improvements, prototypes, and small fixes. You should be comfortable testing, reviewing, and safely rolling out your work in close partnership with engineering.

• Bring Legion's brand to life across the website, landing pages, lifecycle communications, and acquisition creative.

• Develop paid-creative concepts and experiment variants with Growth; use performance feedback to sharpen the message and improve the experience.

• Use user research, usability testing, product analytics, and experiment results to identify friction and decide what to improve.

• Connect acquisition promises with the product experience, creating a coherent path from first impression to activation and continued care.

• Work AI-natively throughout the design process. Use v0, Claude Design, Figma AI, Cursor, and comparable tools to generate and compare directions, build high-fidelity interactive prototypes, test ideas earlier, accelerate implementation, and shorten the loop from concept to shipped product-while applying strong judgment to every final decision.

IDEAL BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

• A portfolio of shipped product work that shows the problem, your personal contribution, alternatives, tradeoffs, interaction detail, and outcomes.

• Strong product-design depth and strong visual craft across typography, layout, brand, and web. We need evidence of both.

• Experience taking ambiguous problems from discovery through polished UI and production collaboration with engineers. Comfortable working directly in a codebase, using Git and pull requests, testing well-scoped changes, and incorporating engineering review before a safe rollout.

• Demonstrated fluency with AI-native design and prototyping workflows is required. You should be able to show how you have used v0, Claude Design, Figma AI, Cursor, or comparable tools to materially improve the speed, breadth, fidelity, or quality of shipped work.

• Website or landing-page work and the ability to develop effective acquisition creative; curiosity about what makes creative perform.

• Comfort using qualitative feedback and quantitative evidence without reducing every design decision to a single conversion metric.

• Clear writing, low ego, high ownership, and the ability to balance speed with quality in an early-stage team.

• Experience in healthcare or another trust-sensitive consumer product is helpful. Sound judgment and strong shipped work matter most.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary: $180,000 - $230,000 annual base salary, based on experience
