Leidos is seeking an experienced Nuclear Weapons Technical Reviewer - International Programs to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Defense Programs' Office of International Programs, in Washington, DC.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of nuclear weapons technology, national security policy, and international defense cooperation, supporting critical partnerships between the United States, United Kingdom, and NATO allies.

In this mission-critical role, you will leverage your nuclear weapons technical expertise and analytical skills to support international collaboration under the U.S./UK Mutual Defense Agreement and NATO ATOMAL Agreement. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support international defense cooperation under the United States/United Kingdom (US/UK) Mutual Defense Agreement (MDA) and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) ATOMAL Agreement, coordinating with the Department of War (DoW) and other U.S. Government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear information-sharing requirements by assisting the Chief of the Joint Atomic Information Exchange Group (JAIEG) in monitoring atomic information exchanges under the US/UK MDA and NATO ATOMAL Agreement.
  • Conduct technical and regulatory reviews of documents to ensure the exchange of atomic information with foreign governments and regional defense organizations complies with the Atomic Energy Act and applicable international agreements.
  • Collaborate with key U.S. and international stakeholders, maintaining close coordination with NNSA Headquarters, NNSA sites, DoW organizations, the British Embassy in Washington, the UK Ministry of Defence in London, and the UK Atomic Weapons Establishment.
  • Develop and deliver specialized training on protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements governing the exchange of atomic information with the UK and NATO.
  • Maintain and enhance information-sharing procedures for the United States and United Kingdom, ensuring processes remain aligned with applicable requirements.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of large datasets to identify historical patterns, trends, and insights that support program activities.
  • Support classified information management by obtaining and maintaining derivative classification authority to classify JAIEG-produced documents, as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Department of Energy (DOE) Q clearance or Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in nuclear weapons technologies, programs, or related activities.
  • Experience processing, safeguarding, and handling accountable classified materials.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to achieve objectives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-tempo environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering or a closely related technical field.
