The Opportunity

Leidos is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead a portfolio of concurrent Survey and Quote (S&Q) projects within a complex Defence ICT environment. Working closely with software developers, systems engineers, testers, technical leaders, security specialists and customer stakeholders, you will translate approved work packages into practical delivery plans and guide projects from mobilisation through to acceptance and closure. This is a hands-on role that combines structured project governance with collaborative leadership to support successful customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, mobilisation, execution, acceptance and closure of multiple concurrent S&Q projects and work packages.
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, schedules, resource forecasts and project controls to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Provide day-to-day leadership for a multidisciplinary delivery squad, partnering with technical leaders to align project priorities and delivery activities.
• Manage scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, changes and financial performance while maintaining visibility of delivery progress.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and provide clear reporting, governance, review, assurance, testing and customer acceptance activities throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings judgement, curiosity and a collaborative approach to work that matters.

• Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple ICT, software or systems projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders within complex, matrixed environments.
• Strong capability in project controls including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, change management and governance reporting.
• Experience working with Agile, iterative or hybrid delivery approaches and software development lifecycle practices.

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain, NV-2 security clearance.
