Lead GYG's video team through a defined 9-month chapter - keep the work moving, the standard high, and the team supported.
Reporting to the Head of Creative & Brand, the Video Team Lead provides day-to-day leadership of a team of 5, providing maternity leave cover. This is a team leadership role focused on keeping delivery on track - workload, scheduling, quality control and stakeholder liaison - for social and campaign video content. You'll be the first point of escalation for the team and the primary check on brand guideline adherence across everything that goes out the door.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the day-to-day workload of a team of 5, allocating tasks and balancing priorities across concurrent briefs
- Run team check-ins, prioritisation meetings and workflow tracking to keep production on schedule
- Support onboarding and day-to-day people leadership, including workload wellbeing and skills development
- Act as first point of escalation for production issues, resourcing conflicts and timeline risks
- Own delivery of social video content, on-brief and on-brand, to publishing schedules
- Coordinate campaign video delivery end to end - briefing, shoot and edit scheduling, review rounds and final delivery
- Act as primary quality control for brand guideline adherence across all video output before sign-off
- Liaise with Creative, Brand and the wider marketing team on requirements and turnaround expectations
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience leading or senior-producing within a video or content production team, ideally fast-paced and multi-brief
- Strong working knowledge of social-first video formats and platform best practice
- A track record of delivering campaign video work to deadline across multiple concurrent projects
- Confidence applying and enforcing brand guidelines across a team's output
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with discipline around version control and production documentation
- Clear, direct communication style - comfortable giving early feedback and escalating risk rather than absorbing it silently
- Competence in Asana or similar project management tools, or the ability to pick them up quickly
- Desirable: food, hospitality or QSR content experience; hands-on editing or motion graphics capability to support the team at peak
