Leidos is an American technology and engineering services company created in 2013 when Science Applications International Corporation split in two, with Leidos taking the technical services and solutions business. It is one of the largest suppliers to the United States government, working across defence programmes, intelligence systems, civil agencies including the Federal Aviation Administration, and healthcare services for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the company also builds security detection products for airports and borders, and has concentrated recent investment on trusted artificial intelligence and autonomy for mission environments.

The Leidos Defense Sector has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Senior Industrial Security Representative supporting the ILS2 Program in Guam. This position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned security professional to bring their industrial security expertise to a dynamic, mission-critical program while working remotely from an offsite location in Guam.

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the ILS2 mission, providing hands-on industrial security support while partnering closely with program leadership, government security officials, and other Leidos security professionals. Responsibilities will include supporting critical elements of the industrial security program, such as personnel security and clearance processing, classified document control, physical security, COMSEC, and the implementation and maintenance of applicable government and contractual security requirements.

In addition to traditional industrial security responsibilities, this position provides an opportunity to contribute to global threat monitoring, crisis management, business continuity, and resilience efforts impacting Leidos personnel, facilities, operations, and assets. The successful candidate will help monitor and assess emerging threats, identify potential impacts to operations, support crisis response and continuity planning, and communicate timely security information and recommendations to program and security leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience working within a cleared facility and industrial security environment, along with strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The ability to effectively collaborate across multiple organizations and communicate with government customers, program management, security professionals, and Leidos’ Global Resilience team will be important to success in this role.

This is more than a traditional industrial security position-it is an opportunity to directly support a critical mission while helping safeguard classified and sensitive information, Leidos personnel, facilities, and operations in a strategically important region. If you are an experienced Industrial Security professional looking for a new challenge, meaningful mission, increased responsibility, and an opportunity to make an immediate impact, we encourage you to consider joining the ILS2 team in Guam.

Primary Responsibilities. Facility & Industrial Security

  • Implement and manage the industrial security program for the facility, ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, DoD Manual 5205.07, DD-254, and program classification guides.

  • Administer day-to-day security operations, including personnel clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, physical security, and alarm response for controlled/closed areas.

  • Manage COMSEC responsibilities under NSA CSS 3-16 and AR 380-40, and oversee a small team of security professionals.

Global Threat & Crisis Management

  • Monitor and assess global threats, incidents, and crises affecting Leidos employees, sites, and assets, applying crisis management and emergency preparedness principles.

  • Develop and maintain business continuity procedures and support emergency management exercises, incorporating lessons learned.

  • Draft and disseminate threat assessments, situation reports, and executive communications.

  • Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and site security/emergency plans for domestic and international locations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant security experience, or a master's degree with 6+ years; additional experience/education may substitute for a degree.

  • Experience conducting security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, and foreign travel briefings.

  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness frameworks (NIMS, NRF, ICS); crisis management or FEMA coursework/certification a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing executives and interfacing with government customers.

  • Self-starter able to work independently, manage competing priorities under pressure, and available for extended hours during a crisis.

  • Full command of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance and be able to meet eligibility requirements for SCI access.
