Backend Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, passionate Backend Engineer to join our growing TLV R&D location. You'll be joining the backend group to help us expand our backend system and add new features to the company's core product.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in driving the backend architecture and technical strategies that underpin our success. This is a great Opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the technical direction of a high-growth company.

Responsibilities

• Build backend system from the ground up.
• Design and collaborate with the engineering team to build architecture and system design for new products.
• Build internal products and integrate with external API’s.
• Play a role in building, expanding, testing and releasing of a product helping thousands happy customers.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to boost productivity, while maintaining strict code quality, security, and critical review standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Top-tier university degree with a GPA of 90+ / Graduated with honors is a strong plus).
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Strong programming skills, with expertise in Python.
• Deep understanding and proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
• Experience designing and integrating with APIs (RESTful services).
• Knowledge in testing methodologies
• Tech-savvy and adaptable: Experience or a strong desire to incorporate AI dev tools into your daily workflow, combined with the critical thinking needed to review and validate AI-generated code.
• Independent, proactive, with great interpersonal skills.
