Join a global Center of Expertise and become a key driver of innovation in ultrasonic welding technologies. In this role, you will lead and ensure the successful implementation of standardized processes and advanced equipment solutions that impact production excellence across multiple international sites.

You will work in a highly collaborative, expert-driven environment connected to the headquarters in Germany, playing a key role in the development and implementation of the Production Management strategic roadmap related to ultrasonic welding technologies.

This position offers the chance to combine deep technical expertise with strategic impact-leading improvements, driving global standards, and contributing to the future of smart manufacturing in a dynamic, international organization.

  • Define and optimize ultrasonic welding processes, including setting and validating critical parameters
  • Close interaction with and support of our product and component development teams
  • Lead process development and industrialization activities for new products, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Establish and implement global technical standards and procedures, including tools, systems, methods, and technologies and best practices for ultrasonic welding across sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, profitability and process capability.
  • Develop the standard concept for end-to-end material flow within production facilities and value streams, including layouts according to LEAN principles.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for welding defects and production issues.
  • Specify, select, and support the implementation of ultrasonic welding equipment, in collaboration with suppliers and in line with global equipment strategy.
  • Train, mentor, and support engineering and production teams while ensuring effective knowledge transfer across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Materials Science
  • Minimum 5 years of professional leading experience in the domain of Ultrasonic Welding
  • Strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Welding Technologies, with a Master’s degree or further education in Welding regarded as a plus
  • Focus on quality, efficiency, and technology optimization
  • Strong technical skills to understand, lead, and drive engineering projects, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on process optimization based on defined KPIs
  • Strong communication and networking skills with internal and external customers
  • English level advanced (written and spoken) - mandatory
