In deze rol als Data Engineer neem jij het voortouw bij het uittekenen en onderhouden van ons centrale datawarehouse.

  • Je beheert en perfectioneert ons datawarehouse in een moderne Databricks-omgeving zodat alle data centraal en efficiënt opgeslagen wordt.

  • Hierbij bouw je betrouwbare ETL/ELT-processen met Python en SQL om nieuwe databronnen vlot te ontsluiten en workflows te automatiseren.

  • Daarnaast ontwerp je robuuste datamodellen en implementeer je geautomatiseerde testen waardoor de datakwaliteit binnen het bedrijf onomstreden blijft.

  • Via gerichte dbt-tests en overzichtelijke dashboards bewaak je de algemene performance om eventuele incidenten proactief op te lossen.

  • Tot slot sla je de brug tussen techniek en business door collega’s te ondersteunen met heldere PowerBI datasets voor slimme beslissingen.

Profiel

Om de rol van Data Engineer succesvol in te vullen, kijken we vooral naar jouw pragmatische aanpak en analytische blik. 

  • Je beschikt over een stevige basis in Python en SQL, aangevuld met een eerste ervaring met dbt en Databricks. 

  • Ervaring met cloudplatformen zoals AWS, CI/CD-pipelines via GitHub Actions of tools zoals Terraform en Airflow vormt een grote plus.

  • Een achtergrond van minimaal twee tot drie jaar in een soortgelijke rol en een relevant diploma sieren jouw profiel. 

  • Collega’s omschrijven jou als een zelfstandige teamplayer die proactief met verbetervoorstellen komt en oog heeft voor detail.
