About the role
Support the day-to-day reliability of hosting and cloud services while developing practical troubleshooting skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Key responsibilities
Monitor service dashboards and alerts and perform initial checks using documented runbooks.
Investigate basic hosting, DNS, email and connectivity issues and record diagnostic evidence.
Escalate incidents with clear impact, timeline and troubleshooting notes.
Assist with approved maintenance, backup checks and restoration exercises under supervision.
Keep ticket updates and operational documentation accurate and current.
Follow access-control and change-management procedures before modifying production services.
Requirements
- Essential requirements
- Foundational knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS and web protocols.
- Ability to use a command line and interpret basic logs and monitoring results.
- Methodical problem solving and willingness to ask for help before making risky changes.
- Clear written communication in Arabic and enough English to read technical documentation.
- Relevant study, a training placement or practical lab projects; commercial experience is not essential.
- Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to virtualization, cloud dashboards, hosting panels or basic scripting.
- Examples of troubleshooting notes, home labs or service monitoring projects.
