Sandhill Cove Retirement Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver (perdiem) to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:
- Drive van, bus (14 passenger ) or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Assist Life Enrichment Manager or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle.
- May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus (14 passenger)/van driver required
- Position requires a valid Florida Drivers License
- Must have the ability to obtain a CPR/AED certification
Pay rate: $17.00 an hour
****Perdiem position****
Shift: Saturday 3pm to 8:30pm and Sunday 8:30am to 5:30pm.
