Join our team on 2nd shift and operate a Turret Truck to safely pick, pull, move, stage, and put away palletized products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and keeping operations running smoothly while following all company safety policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a turret truck to pick, pull, stage, and put away products throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately label orders by recording order numbers, receiver names, and case quantities on all pulled orders, pallets, boxes, bins, and packages.
- Pull customer orders efficiently and accurately to meet productivity and service expectations.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect pick tickets immediately to leadership.
- Assist with freight movement, product replenishment, and inventory location tasks after order selection is completed.
- Identify and report damaged pallets or other safety concerns to supervisors.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and forklift maintenance checklists.
- Monitor battery levels, maintain and clean batteries, and properly return equipment to designated charging stations.
- Operate additional material handling equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous turret truck operating experience required.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and a flexible schedule as business needs dictate.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical & Work Environment Requiremen ts
- Ability to lift and move at least 40 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments that may range from -20°F in cold storage to 100°F in dry storage, with company-provided PPE.
- Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and varying noise levels, which may be loud at times.
