Database Administrator Engineer(EPI)

Responsibilities

• Maintain MySQL, Redis, HBase instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
• Prepare documentations and specifications.
• Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Problem response, incident management and audit review responses.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years’ experience in Database Administrator management related experience.
• Strong proficiency in (MySQL | Redis | HBase) database management.
• Decent experience with recent versions of (MySQL | Redis | HBase).
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
• Proficient Linux environment.
• DevOps experience to support our database
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese

Preferred:

• Experience within designing, building and operating DBA for the financial industry.
• Experience with multiple DBMS management experiences (MySQL | Redis | HBase).
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible.
• Experience with programming skills: Golang, Python.
• Experience with DB design, construction and operation.
• Experience with Manage capacity, costs, resources, and more.
• Experience with Examine, analyze and improve operational efficiency.
• Experience with Project control experience/skills.
