WEBTOON - Localization Assistant Manager / Manager (Thai Language QA)

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve Thai localization quality standards, style guides, glossaries, and related processes
• Review Thai translations and improve linguistic quality, accuracy, nuance, and natural expression
• Maintain language assets and documentation to support consistent localization quality
• Improve localization workflows through cross-functional collaboration
• Identify recurring translation quality issues and recommend practical improvements

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in translation, localization, linguistic quality assurance, or a related field preferred
• Experience in webtoon or content translation and localization preferred
• Degree in linguistics, Thai, or a related field preferred
• Experience developing language assets such as style guides and glossaries preferred
• Strong ability to assess translation accuracy, nuance, context, and natural language expression
• Ability to explain linguistic quality issues logically and convert findings into clear standards or guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive quality-review tasks
• Strong structured documentation and clear communication skills
• Japanese or other additional language proficiency preferred
• Professional proficiency in Korean and Thai
• Professional proficiency in English
