Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MDM Lead to drive the architectural design and hands-on execution of a Master Data Management Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a global Life Sciences client.
Operating onsite in Poland, you will act as the principal authority on master data architecture, data modeling, match/merge logic, and stewardship workflows. You will lead the delivery squad in building a non-production unified data sandbox that reconciles Customer (HCP/HCO) and Product/SKU domains across disparate source systems (CRM, ERP, legacy databases). Furthermore, you will define the enterprise scale-up blueprint and target-state MDM roadmap for global deployment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architectural Ownership & Data Modeling
- Design the conceptual, logical, and solution architecture for the non-production MDM sandbox and long-term enterprise target state.
- Define domain data models, deterministic and fuzzy matching algorithms, crosswalk mappings, unique identifiers, and survivorship/consolidation rules.
- Author technical implementation blueprints and scale-up strategies for transition into production.
2. Technical Leadership & MVP Execution
- Lead a cross-functional delivery team (including offshore engineering squads in India) across data ingestion, cleansing, standardization, matching, and golden-record publishing.
- Establish operational pipelines using the client’s existing data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Power BI) and dedicated MDM platforms (Profisee).
- Translate data steward decisions into scalable automated rules, documenting edge cases, system constraints, and technical handover packs.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Facilitate weekly architectural working sessions, technical review boards, and alignment meetings with client IT leaders, platform owners, and business stewards.
- Serve as the primary technical bridge between local client stakeholders and regional consulting teams (Zurich / India).
- Formulate operational workflows for data stewardship, exception handling, and manual match confirmation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Core Technical & Domain Experience:
- Proven track record as an MDM Architect or Lead Technical Consultant across at least one full-lifecycle enterprise MDM implementation.
- Deep subject matter expertise in Customer domain (HCP/HCO) and/or Product/SKU domain data models.
- Practical hands-on experience with Profisee is strongly preferred. Experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio, or Semarchy is highly valuable.
- Expert knowledge of match-and-merge mechanics, hierarchy management, survivorship strategies, lineage crosswalks, and stewardship interface design.
- Strong proficiency in SQL. Practical experience with modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt, Python) is a distinct advantage.
