Arabic speaking Paralegal/Support Lawyer (Banking)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Arabic-speaking Banking Paralegal to support our Dubai Banking practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Partners and Associates in our Dubai office, providing essential transactional support across a range of banking and finance matters. T he role can be based remotely from the UK, with hybrid working available where appropriate.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and highly organised legal professional with strong banking transactional experience, excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced international environment. This role offers immediate exposure to cross-border matters and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide transactional support on a range of banking and finance matters, working closely with partners, associates, clients and external counsel.
• Assist with the preparation, review and management of banking and finance documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Support the coordination of transactions, acting as a point of contact between internal and external stakeholders and helping ensure matters progress efficiently.
• Assist with legal research, document reviews, due diligence exercises and the preparation of summaries and reports.
• Track conditions precedent, signing and completion requirements, and post-completion actions to support successful transaction execution.
• Manage document production processes, including preparing execution versions, compiling bibles and maintaining transaction records.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders in both Arabic and English as required.
• Support the wider Banking practice with administrative and project-based tasks, contributing to effective matter management and client service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the efficient delivery of legal services.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent Arabic and English language skills, with the ability to communicate professionally in both written and spoken formats.
• LPC / SQE or (Foreign) Qualified lawyers.
• 2 years' experience as a Banking Paralegal within an international law firm or leading financial institution.
• Experience supporting banking and finance transactions, including document management, due diligence and transaction execution processes.
• Exposure to international or Middle East/Dubai-related matters would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships across jurisdictions.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgement and take ownership of tasks in a remote or hybrid working environment.
• Proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.
