Responsibilities
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, balancing performance, quality, and delivery speed.
- Lead the development of complex product features, collaborating closely with product, design, and other engineering teams.
- Build and optimize advanced, responsive user interfaces adaptable to multiple screen sizes and platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and data integrity.
- Drive and participate in technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Mentor and support other engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Identify and lead improvements in existing systems and development processes.
- Leverage AI tools (like Cursor, v0, etc.) to enhance velocity, code quality, and developer experience.
- Actively contribute to planning and estimation, bringing a product and user-first mindset to the table.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who has…
- 5+ years of experience in software development, ideally in cross-functional product teams.
- Deep expertise in Next.js/React and TypeScript.
- Experience with styling tools like TailwindCSS, and animation libraries such as Framer Motion or GSAP.
- Strong back-end skills with NodeJS and NestJS, and a solid grasp of software architecture, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Experience designing and querying relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Advanced understanding of SEO, accessibility, and web performance.
- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience mentoring developers and leading technical discussions.
- Ability to give and receive feedback constructively, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Experience (and strong interest) in using AI-powered tools (e.g., Cursor, v0, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development workflows.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher).
Nice to have
- Experience with React Native.
- Knowledge of the AWS and Vercel ecosystem.
- Experience integrating and customizing headless CMSs (e.g., Sanity, Strapi, Contentful).
- Strong background in code reviews, technical mentorship, and upholding coding standards.
- Previous use of AI tools for prototyping, debugging, and documentation.
