Graphic Designer

About the Role

Little Spoon is looking for a standout designer to help drive our creative excellence across packaging, marketing comms and advertising channels. As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life-on the packaging itself, in real-world advertising placements and in the digital space. You’ll flex across packaging design for new launches and product line extensions, create eye-catching print + digital media and support brand campaigns with scroll-stopping visuals. 

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the Senior Art Director, Senior Designer, and Marketing team to concept and execute engaging visuals across channels
• Bring our brand to life with best-in-class packaging, ads, activation + event creative, paid/organic social and direct mail
• Maintain visual identity systems that ensure brand consistency across every touchpoint
• Act as a creative partner to our in-house UX/UI team for digital projects when needed
• Flex easily between digital and print projects
• Take on the opportunity to manage a junior designer

Who You Are

• 5+ years of design experience (print + digital) with a strong background in packaging, advertising and deepening brand identity
• Mastery of Adobe Suite & Figma-you know your way around a smart object
• A typography, color and layout aficionado
• Strong mockup + prototyping skills (from concept to final print-ready files to renders and in situ mockups)
• Experience in photo retouching and visual storytelling
• Experience designing packaging and a knowledge of print mechanical files 
• Feel comfortable presenting creative work to stakeholders
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
• A team player who loves collaboration, takes feedback in stride and is always up for a creative challenge
• Passionate about CPG, food and designing for a brand with personality
• You actively leverage AI tools to elevate the quality and speed of your work, using them to enhance personalization, accelerate post-launch analysis, and identify efficiencies in how programs are built, executed, and optimized

• A strong portfolio showcasing impactful brand approach + know-how in packaging design, advertising creative and social-first design 
• A strong creative POV-you're not afraid to push boundaries while staying true to brand integrity 
• An instinct for deepening brand identity + a love of consistency and creating rules/structures for creatives to drive high-impact designs
• Bonus: Experience with up + coming, new generation food brands (and a love for food!)

Little Spoon is home to extraordinary, mission-aligned people, and we aim to compensate accordingly. Compensation is informed by market data, company stage, the scope of the role, location, and individual experience. The anticipated base salary range for NYC-based candidates is $80,000-$90,000 USD, commensurate with experience. Candidates outside of NYC or in remote roles may be subject to a different range. This role also includes an equity package and comprehensive benefits designed to support the well-being and growth of every Spooner.
